Fashion: How To Look Your Best
I am one of the many people who believe you can look good in anything, as long as you know how to pull it off. I'd like to say confidence is all it takes, but I'd be lying. You need to actually, well, make it all come together.
Take for instance, Nicole Ritchie. She's not particularily good looking, and ignore her alarmingly skeletal frame, and just look at how gorgeous she looks in this fairly plain dress. Were Paris Hilton wearing it, it would look disgusting.
Now watch as Jessica Simpson butchers it:
Just make sure you look good and feel good about what you're wearing, and you'll be fine.
And if there's anyone around, ask their opinion.

Now look at this dressed-down Ashley Olsen. She looks fabulous in a basic white t-shirt, flip-flops, jeans, a gold chain and shades. She makes it look easy and effortless. Ofcourse, her Hermes bag helps a whole lot, but nonetheless, she looks great.
Take a good look at this pretty Luca Luca dress:
Now watch as Jessica Simpson butchers it:
Here's what she's doing wrong:
1-She's wearing a dress that does not fit her body type.
2-Why is she posing like that? She looks like a damn hillbilly. This woman does not know how to carry herself.
And she's so pretty.
What a shame.
To this day, scientists have not discovered exactly how one makes it all come together.Just make sure you look good and feel good about what you're wearing, and you'll be fine.
And if there's anyone around, ask their opinion.

Fashion: Drawing The Line Between "influenced by" and "lack of originality"
There is no line in my opinion.
It is lack of originality when someone's dress sense (or fashion line) is "influenced" by the 1930s. Or 1970s. Or whatever other era.
What makes the fashion of the 20s and 30s and up (all except the 80s... I don't know what that was about. Urgh. Scary.) interesting is that it was new and different at the time.
When people look back at fashion today, I'm worried they will see bad copies of past trends.
We need something new and original.

Trend: Hair
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm loving the super long, naturally wavy hair Mary Kate Olsen is sporting. It's such a nice change from the choppy layers and bangs we've been seeing everywhere for the past couple of years.
I also love Ashley Olsen's loose bun. It's suits all hair types and is fairly easy to achieve.
I know the Olsens both resemble garden gnomes, but I have to say they certainly know how to dress and wear their hair.

Fashion: H&M
I realise the above photo is misleading, and that Kate Moss (God Damn/Bless her) can make a potato sack look like Chanel, but I truly believe H&M is brilliant.
Quirky clothes, excellent price range, and the quality's not bad either. I have a shirt I got there four years ago, and I still wear it. Also, it's a good place if you like to mix and match with colors and patterns.
I know we don't have one here in the ME, but they say one's on the way.

Fashion: Handbags
The Balenciaga Biker bag is like a miracle of science. It comes in all the shapes and sizes you can ever think of, and it's absolutely gorgeous in every one. Plus, this bag is like an investment. Wear it with a pair of sweatpants, an old white t-shirt, and you'll look like a movie star.
Only one problem.
It costs about $2000.
I hate you Balenciaga.
Love,
ubergirl
PS. Girls (and guys), if you own a Biker bag you need to know the mirror attatched to the inside of it is meant to stay on the inside. Trust me on this.

Skin Product: Freederm
Yes. Even the all powerful ubergirl gets Acne.
Nothing worked for me except this. I swear if you use it everyday for two weeks you will see a difference.
How do you know I'm not lying?
No-one's paying me to say this. Wallah.
It's awsome.
